Branch Manager: Santa Cruz, California
Qualifications: At least 3 years experience in uniformed security/law enforcement or military service. Associate Degree or higher plus three additional years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
Proficient in coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others. Must be highly computer literate; possess professional communication skills, excellent inductive and deductive reasoning and attention to detail. Must possess management level knowledge of California laws, procedures, government regulations, and agency rules regarding private security. General Position Description – Branch Manager
Establish and maintain relationships with individual and business customers, and provide outstanding customer service and follow-up to all issues.
Plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of workers in the branch administrative office – supervise and direct the branch operations manager.
Support field staff in a uniformed capacity as may be required, including hands on coordination of large special events and local activates.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends as may be required.
Oversee the flow of branch specific cash using financial instruments.
Recruit staff members, and oversee training programs.
Network within communities to find and attract new business.
Coordinate the approval and rejection of branch specific expenses.
Prepare limited, branch specific and/or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, and the board of directors.
Establish security procedures for custody and control of assets, records, vehicles and other Company property.
Qualifications: Valid California Guard Card. At least 3 years experience in uniformed security/law enforcement or military logistics. Prefer Associate's Degree or higher and 3 years of responsible experience in the security industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job as determined by the company.
Proficient in coordinating, supervising, managing, or training others.
